Hello! It’s Vanessa of See Vanessa Craft, here with delicious recipe for you. After you paint your own cookie jar at As You Wish, you’ll need to fill it. In honor of March’s National Peanut Month, we’re baking a batch of peanut butter cookies. This is one of my favorite recipes to make with my children, because it is fairly easy and everyone seems to enjoy it. My oldest enjoys measuring out the ingredients, while my youngest loves to dump them in the mixing bowl. The recipe is dairy free, but everyone will love it!
INGREDIENTS (makes 3 dozen)
1 1/4 cups creamy peanut butter
1 cup packed brown sugar
1 large egg
2 tbsp water
3/4 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda
1tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp salt
Step 1: Head to As You Wish and paint a cookie jar! This cookie jar was painted by a talented As You Wish artist.
Step 2: Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Using a mixer, cream together the peanut butter and brown sugar.
Step 3: Mix in the egg and water. Add in the flour, baking soda, vanilla and salt until smooth.
Step 4: Roll into 1 inch balls and place on a cookie sheet. Use a fork to push down the cookies, making a criss cross pattern on the top of each cookie.
Step 5: Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Allow to fully cool before enjoying!
Step 6: Place leftovers in your new cookie jar!
Make sure to check the As You Wish Calendar for upcoming painting events!
