This week we teamed up with our friends at Cultivate Goodness to cook and serve a meal for the men at The East Valley Men’s Center (EVMC).

A New Leaf’s East Valley Men’s Center provides shelter and support services to single men, the largest homeless population in Arizona, and the population that struggles most to find assistance. Most of these men have recently experienced some sort of trauma like the death of a spouse, the loss of a job, or a serious medical crisis and often find themselves with nowhere to go and very few resources to help get them back on their feet.

A New Leaf believes these men deserve the help they need to overcome these temporary, but devastating, challenges and offers a hand up to men who are willing to put in the work to improve their lives.

The men are provided 3 meals a day. The EVMC operates a robust community meal program in which churches, corporations, and other community groups serve regular meals entirely free of charge.

Through stable living, comprehensive services, and compassion for the challenges that each man faces, A New Leaf helps men experiencing homelessness find their feet and become contributing members of the community once again. We are so grateful for the opportunity to serve and support such a wonderful organization!
