Camp Soaring Eagle Tile Painting Contest

As You Wish has partnered with Camp Soaring Eagle www.campsoaringeagle.org, a local non-profit dedicated to sending seriously ill children to camp to experience the healing power of laughter and sheer joy of play that sickness has too long denied them in a medically safe setting – free of charge.  As You Wish chose Camp Soaring Eagle because both organizations cater to the same people (Children and Families) and believe in the same philosophy (The Experience Itself). In the past year As You Wish has raised over $13,000 for Camp Soaring Eagle!  While we are proud of that accomplishment and very thankful to our generous customers for making it possible, we still keep striving for more!  Unfortunately every day there are children diagnosed with illnesses and new children who need to attend camp.

How you can help Camp Soaring Eagle 

send kids to Camp:

Tiles for Smiles Program: Groups and individual customers may paint 4” tiles at any As You Wish location for $10 each plus tax or 12 tiles for $100.  $7 out of every $10 spent on Tiles For Smiles goes directly towards sending a child to camp!  The cost to send a child to camp is $1,500.  The tiles are then donated to Camp Soaring Eagle and made into art projects that are sent to various camps across the country that Camp Soaring Eagle Campers are staying at to inspire, encourage, and uplift their spirits.

While many people across the valley have painted tiles including,valley news anchors, law offices and other businesses as part of their corporate teambuilding,Girl Scouts troops, and Football Hall of Famer,Steve Young and his family, many more are needed, and all are welcome. Angie Fraley, As You Wish Community Relations Director says, 

“Most people think of large projects and large sums of money in order to  make a difference in a big way.  This however, is a tangible, family friendly, way to involve your children in giving back and make a difference in the life of a local child, all while having fun at the same time, for only $10 per tile.  It’s a win win!”
